A man and his canine companion risked their lives by jumping into a frozen New York state reservoir to rescue two other dogs that had fallen through the ice in a rescue mission captured on video. A care worker died of hypothermia after becoming trapped naked in the airing cupboard of her holiday home, an inquest heard. It was unclear why she entered the cupboard.
